The special attention of the Fruit Master Foods Company is focused on the matters of product quality, which is due to the fact that success of any product on the market is based on the systematic approach to the issues of quality and safety on every level. The task of quality control being carried out at the Fruit Master Foods is allotted to the Production Manager Department and Production Laboratory, which is staffed by the specialists, having appropriate skills and has been qualified in the sphere of advancement of the state metrological supervision system.

The quality control system is implemented at Fruit Master Foods stage by stage and comprises the following stages:

• incoming control of raw and auxiliary materials;
• process maintenance control (to be carried out with the use of operational, selective and special control methods, each havingits own specifics);
• formulation maintenance control (to be carried out in the blending process);
• sanitary-and-hygienic control (to be carried out during the whole processing);
• finished product control (to be carried out in the course of production and product acceptance tests).

To ensure the effective quality control results, the following resources have been made use of:

• provision of the production laboratory qualified in the sphere of advancement of the state metrological supervision system;
• furnishing the production laboratory with advanced laboratory instruments used to gain accurate and reliable measurement data;
• regulatory base: application of appropriate standards to raw materials, finished products, testing and process following methods;
• supplies of materials and machinery to the laboratory-and-production departments;
• employment of highly skilled personnel and organization of the advanced training system;
• rational organizational structure, proper personnel assignment and distribution of functional duties in order that every task assigned to a particular service may be fulfilled in due time, with proper quality and in the full volume.

All the Fruit Master Foods products have been certified and approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

At the current stage, the enterprise is involved in the intensive work on the development and implementation of the integrated quality and food safety system according the standards of series ISO 9000, ISO 22000
